Lucrèce, de nos jours, par un destin plus beau,
A su briser enfin de pénibles entraves,
Loin de se contenter de tourner son fuseau,
Elle sait faire encore filer les vieux Burgraves.

LUCRETIA AND THE BURGRAVES.
Lucretia of our times, by a more beautiful destiny,
knew to finally break free from the constraints.
Far from contenting herself with turning her spindle,
she knows how to again turn away the old Burgraves.
