Un brouillard protecteur obscurcissait les cieux;

Dans une grotte sombre entrainant son amie,
Enée en ce beau jour vit couronner ses feux

AENEAS AND DIDO.
A protective fog darkened the heavens
And no umbrella was to be found
Aeneas guided his friend to a grotto,
where the rewards quite clearly abound.
