Sur une pyramide? Alors sans hésiter
Oedipe répondit: C´est qu´elles sont près Caire.
Pour un vieux calembourg on peut s´en contenter.

Translation: OEDIPUS AT THE SPHINX.
This animal villain has the head of an antiques dealer.
He said: Sir, why is it not necessary to build
on one pyramid? Then without hesitating, Oedipus exclaimed:
It is that they are near Cairo!
For an old pun, that should be quite acceptable.
