L'adresse du pêcheur à tendre ses filets, l'habileté du chasseur à saisir le gibier, les ruses du maquignon pour cacher les vices rédhibitoires de son cheval, rien n'est comparable à l'adresse, à l'habileté, à la ruse que dépolie une mère pour marier sa fille..... les pauvres chinois ont beau se méfier des appâts, du miel et de la glu, il en tombe toujours quelqu'un dans le traquenard maternel.
