J'ai des Miots dans l'assemblée,
J'ai des Ségurs marqués de roux,
La sonnette est en fer creusée
Et le manche en branche de houx.
C'est par leurs soins, montagne et plaine,
Que chacun crie hiver, été,
Ils crient toute la semaine
Miot, Ségur de leur côté.
Quand il faut les entendre,
J'aimerais mieux me pendre;
Bourzat me crispe: eh bien, pourtant j'aimerais mieux
Trente Bourzats réunis, que ces deux.

Translation:
I have theMiots in the Assembly
I have the Ségurs marked with red,
The hand-bells of iron hollowed out
And the handle from a holly branch.
It is by their cares, mountains and plain,
