Les tireurs travaillent dans toutes les foules, à la sortie des spectacles, au Musée, devant les Escamoteurs et beaucoup devant la maison Aubert. Ils feignent d'être poussés, ou bien ils se poussent et dévalisent le Jobard par devant et par derrière.

The theft.
The pick-pockets work in all types of crowds, after the theatre, at the museum, at the circus and often in front of Aubert's shop. They give the impression of being pushed and they will shove and rob the simpleton from the front and from behind.
